4D Cinema: Hallo Mr Dinosaur! / 道上滾球
As an extended study of ‘site’ in 2014, I selected 4D cinema as the object of observation in this painting. 4D cinema is a space where virtual experience is dominant.
Nowadays, virtual experience can be accessed easily through different means. It allows us to feel something untouchable, e.g. meeting with dinosaurs, fairies and experiencing a disaster, at a safe distance. Any space or medium which provide these experiences resembles a shop, selling somewhere unknowable.
承繼 2014 年有關場域的探討，我於本作中以 4D 影院作描繪對象，觀察一個以感受虛擬體驗為主體的空間。
在現代人的生活中，透過種種途徑接觸虛擬體驗經已不是新事，有趣的是，虛擬體驗有不少是讓人在安全的距離下，感受生命中難以觸及的事物，例如遇上恐龍、碰上仙子以及災難體驗等。提供體驗的媒介和場所有如一間商店，出售「不可知」的領域。
