About Cheng Ting Ting
Cheng Ting Ting lives and works in Hong Kong. Cheng finds painting ineloquent as an art medium and is fascinated by this quality. Her works usually begins with obscurity and is followed by the interplay between strokes and materials, which gives shapes to the intangibles. Through the painting process that Cheng has faith in, she slowly unfolds daily elusiveness and absurdity.
She was the winner of the AVA award and the Red Elation Award in 2013. Past exhibitions and projects include 'Recipient Absent', 'Fall In Fall Out’, The Imaginary Order’ in Gallery Exit, 'Very Natural Actions' in Tai Kwun ‘The Pendulant Mass’ in Galerie OVO, ‘→’ in Blindspot Gallery and ‘Imagine there’s no country Above us only our cities’ in Para Site.
鄭婷婷，主要從事繪畫及素描創作。繪畫的不善辭令最使鄭氏著迷，她的畫作往往始於晦暗不明，她信任筆觸和物料間反覆的互動，方能為尚未成形的感覺顯影。鄭氏借繪畫的過程緩慢地過濾日常的艱澀和荒謬。
於 2013 年獲頒視覺藝術院獎及紅彩畫廊獎，其後作品見於《收件人不在》、《集合之前 解散之後》、《The Imaginary Order》(Gallery EXIT)、《藏木於林》(大館賽馬會藝方)、《搖曳的重量》(台北十方畫廊)、《→》(刺點畫廊) 及《如果只有城籍沒有國籍》(Para Site)。
